“It was a risk to start my own firm, certainly,” Mr. Panish says in the five-minute video. “People told me it’s going to be great, you’re going to do great, but you never know that until you do it. In our practice you need to take risks, and I’m glad I did.”
Taking from his own experience of starting a law firm, Mr. Panish goes the next step and offers advice to those attorneys who are considering doing the same.
“Make sure you’ve got good people with you,” he says. “The key is not one person can do it all. You need to have a great supporting cast of people. You’ve got to be willing to work hard, you’ve got be willing to take risks.”
